Oldfields Gallery is named after the historical Native American word “Tallahassee,” now Florida’s capitol city, which translates to “the place of old fields,” echoing the regions rich history. Oldfields Gallery was founded by Garrett McCormack, who grew up in North Florida, studying antiques and practicing wildlife photography across the “old fields.”

Garrett McCormack is an art and antique specialist with 25 years of experience in buying, selling, and appraising. While his professional experience spans the field of antiques and collectibles, his expertise also extends into the more specialized fields of antiquities, arms and armor, and ethnographic art. His personal passion and primary focus is on Asian decorative arts with an emphasis on Chinese porcelain.
